Frozen Peach Salsa Margaritas
Salsa is My Secret for Easier Frozen Margaritas
I have found fresh salsa to be a great starter for all kinds of cocktails. It has so many delicious ingredients already in it, so all you need to do is add your favorite spirit and a couple other items depending on your taste and mood. These margaritas use Garden Fresh Gourmet® Mango Peach Salsa as the base. The salsa has tomato in it, yet don't let the color fool you. The peach for this cocktail really is the star. More frozen peaches are blended in with a little honey and tequila for a refreshing, slightly-sweet cocktail.

- You'll need 2 cups of ice and a high-speed blender for this drink.
- Rim your glasses with the chili-salt-sugar mixture before you pour the cocktails.

Ingredients
1 16 oz. container Garden Fresh Gourmet® Mango Peach Salsa
1/3 cup honey
10 oz. white tequila
3 cups frozen peaches (1 16 oz. bag)
2 cups ice
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
¼ teaspoon chili powder
1 fresh lime cut into thin discs
Directions
Add the salsa, honey and tequila to a blender and blend about 20-30 seconds. Add the peaches and ice and blend again until smooth, 45 seconds to 1 minute. Transfer to a pitcher for serving.
Mix together the sugar, salt and chili powder on a small plate. Run a wet ice cube around the rims of 8 oz. cocktail glasses and dip them into the sugar-salt mixture.
Pour the margaritas into the glasses. Garnish each with a lime disc.

- In the rare event you have leftovers in your blender, freeze it in a shallow container, re-blend, and relax.
- Tequila not your thing? Try using white rum.
- Add some fresh mint for an even cooler blend.
- Keep your frozen drink super-cool by adding frozen grapes to each glass (they won't dilute your cocktail).
