Spicy Sweet Dipping Sauce
Make Chicken Tenders and Other Easy Meals More Delicious with This Slightly Sweet, Tangy Dipping Sauce
Here's a simple, tangy sauce that you can use for drizzling, dunking, glazing, and seasoning. It's a building block of flavor for many dishes you'll find on my site. When you buy dipping sauces at the store, you're never quite sure how much sweetener or spice is added, but when you combine these simple ingredients to blend your own, you're totally in control.

What you need to know before you cook.
- Melt coconut oil and bring to room temperature before mixing with other sauce ingredients.

Ingredients
3-4 Tablespoons* sriracha hot sauce *depending on how spicy you like it
3 Tablespoons coconut oil, melted (room temperature)
⅓ cup honey
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (about 25 twists of a pepper mill)
1½ teaspoons grated fresh ginger
1 Tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
Directions
In a small bowl, whisk everything together. Set aside.

- Add a dash or two of apple cider or rice wine vinegar for some zing.
- Stir in a teaspoon or two of smoked paprika for deeper flavor.
- Freshen the sauce up with a couple squeezes of lime juice.
