Culinary Content Intern
CULINARY CONTENT INTERN - Summer 2024

Chadwick Boyd Lifestyle (CBL) is seeking a culinary content intern to support content creation and management for its CBL digital ecosystem, namely www.chadwickboydlifestyle.com and the brand’s social channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn). The ideal candidate should have experience in managing digital content assets and using content planning tools, as well as experience with SEO. Experience with SquareSpace and MailChimp is highly preferred. The ideal candidate must have excellent writing skills, be highly organized, pay very close attention to detail, and be able to manage a schedule and deliver on deadlines. The end goal of this internship is to grow the CBL.com website traffic, bring consistency to the CBL social channels and plan the brand’s newsletter functions. Passion for digital media and food content is required. Culinary experience is desired, though not required. This position works directly with CBL President and Owner Chadwick Boyd.
Core Responsibilities:
Produce and manage content on CBL.com and social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and others as needed)
Manage and plan social media calendar
Monitor analytics and/or other data and make adjustments to CBL channels as needed
Ability to organize content assets and create an easy-to-navigate content filing system
Ability to synthesize concepts and written materials into succinct, visual and written content
Ability to balance multiple priorities and be nimble with workflow
Assist as needed for photo and video shoots & live broadcasts
Requirements:
A high school diploma + a minimum of 3 years college curriculum
Proficient in Word, Excel, Google Docs and Dropbox
Experience with Squarespace or equivalent platform
Excellent communication skills—written, spoken, and by phone
Deep familiarity and comfort with social media platforms and related technology
Video editing skills, preferably in Capcut
Extremely detail-oriented and organized
A proactive problem solver and a quick learner
Support photo/video shoots
Must have an enthusiastic demeanor and be willing to have fun while doing work
This position is based in NYC. It is part-time, 24-30 hours weekly.
Compensation is $20/hour. Ideally, the candidate will receive credit toward degree for this position.
